- 13 Jan 2007 – 5th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr Parade, N Main St,
High Point!
It was a beautiful day for a parade and many High Point citizens lined
Main Street! Sondra and Jack and Kirby passed out HPDiA bookmarks with
our Mission Statement & voter information and spoke with many on the
streets. Kirby's convertible again marked our presence; thanks to Stan
& Kay for their sidewalk outreach!
- Democratic Headquarters in High Point — a
KEY to SUCCESS! We held an open house and met many new, awesome volunteers!

- DEMs Fired Up! Another event at the Lake [held October
15] drew about 75 DEMs, ready to paint Guilford BLUE! We
celebrated the registration of more than 50 new voters during the
fall! Great Start!
- 100
Days! 100 Votes! 100 Actions!
On Saturday, July 29, over
125 Democrats gathered for a GREAT Democratic Reunion,
here in Guilford County, at Oak Hollow Lake Festival Park in High Point!

High Point Precincts! This is GRASS ROOTS work! Vote
by Vote, Person by Person, Precinct by Precinct. Get out and meet your
neighbors! Register Voters. Plan a get-together. Here are some great

and doorhangers.
There are also great tips for going out on a canvass as well as sample

- Martin Luther King, Jr. parade through downtown High
Point, 14 January 2006. Our small contingency had a
strong presence, welcomed by the parade-goers! We passed out our bookmarks
and visited with many folk along thr parade route.
- Baked Ziti at Open Door Shelter on 23
Dec 2005. We had a good time and our efforts were appreciated.
Plan on more in the future!
- COOKOUT and PICNIC on 26 Nov 2005
at the pavilion/shelter behind the Presbyterian church between. We had
a great turnout for our first community feast! Plans are already in
the making for future feasting events.
