  • We'll be hosting another Democratic Reunion at Oak Hollow Lake in High Point, next fall, 2008. Contact us if you'd like to help organize. We're aiming for September, so candidates can meet voters and it won't be too hot. Exact date to be determined.
  • It's ALWAYS Precinct Organizing Season! Here are some amazing tools for contacting your neighbors and organizing your precinct! NC District Viewer to get street level maps of every district in NC! DFA has held 'night school' via the internet to help with organizing tactics and getting ALL US prcincts activated; PDF presentations available for download here or at the DFA site.   • High Point’s Martin Luther King, Jr. parade on 14 January 2006; we distributed HPDiA bookmarks & met lots of folk along Main St.A few photos on the events page.
  • Baked Ziti at Open Door Shelter on 23 Dec 2005; we baked ziti, served supper, visited with folks receiving our kindness, and even registered a voter or two! Some photos are on the events page.
  • COOKOUT and PICNIC on 26 Nov 2005 at the pavilion/shelter behind the Presbyterian church and Clover Leaf, across from 804 N. Hamilton St. between 12:30 - 2:30pm. We had a great turnout, registered a few voters, and look forward to future feasts. Check out the events page to see some pictures.
